Aromatic long-grain basmati, milled and graded for international buyers
Long-grain aromatic basmati from the fertile fields of Punjab, milled and graded to international standards.
Aroma, taste and grain length reach their best in our basmati rice — a non-glutinous variety recognised for its distinctive fragrance, delicate flavour, softness and fluffiness after cooking. Grown in the fertile plains of Punjab and processed on Pakistan Rice Standards, our basmati is pure and hygienic, nutritious and flavourful, ready to cook, consistent from container to container and holds a long shelf life. Its cooking properties have earned it a permanent place in the food service and restaurant trade worldwide.
The grades of basmati rice we produce and ship. Any specification outside this list can be produced to order.
Our flagship grade — maximum grain length, elongation and aroma.
Extra-long steamed grain with firm, separate texture after cooking.
Parboiled extra-long grain, favoured for biryani and bulk catering.
High-yield long-grain variety offering strong value at volume.
Unpolished wholegrain basmati retaining bran, fibre and nutrients.
Our basmati is sourced from the fertile plains of Punjab, where the combination of river-fed soil, climate and generations of growing knowledge produces the grain length and aroma basmati is known for worldwide. We buy paddy through established grower relationships rather than open-market spot lots, which gives us visibility of variety, harvest window and moisture at intake.
Milling is carried out on Pakistan Rice Standards. Paddy is dried to a stable moisture level, de-husked, whitened, polished and then colour-sorted and length-graded, so every container ships to the same specification as the sample your team approved.
Basmati is a non-glutinous variety that elongates rather than swells on cooking, staying firm, separate and fluffy. That behaviour is exactly what food service kitchens need for biryani, pulao and pilaf service, where rice is often held for a period before plating.
We supply both steam and sella (parboiled) processing routes. Steam rice keeps a softer bite and stronger aroma for retail and restaurant use, while sella carries the tolerance and yield that high-volume catering and institutional buyers prefer.
We pack in bulk for repackers and under your own brand for retail programmes, including artwork, barcoding and market-specific labelling. Where a market requires a particular grain length, broken percentage or moisture tolerance, we set the mill specification to that requirement before production starts.
Steam rice is steamed after milling, giving a softer texture and more pronounced aroma. Sella is parboiled in the husk before milling, which hardens the grain so it holds shape under long cooking and bulk holding — the reason it dominates catering and biryani production.
We ship full container loads as standard, typically one 20ft or 40ft FCL per SKU. For first orders or trial shipments we can discuss mixed-grade loading within a single container.
